Starting Fresh

It has been 4 years and I finally re-discovered this thing. Amazing. I have been wanting to actually create a blog. But, honestly I feel like I don't have anything important to contribute to society. I want to try and update this every day (Like my Tumblr Blog, which is mostly just photos and products).  But, this will be everyday gubbins. See, that is pretty exciting. We get to go on adventures together.

 Uhm, lots going on in my life since 4 Years ago, so check it out after the jump.

Alright! First things first... Where am I right now? I have my own house I am renting, working from home selling art, and still doing a lot of the same stuff. I still play a lot of video games, drawing, bead sprites, sleeping too much, way too much coffee, etc. 


I guess the Real Story is how I got here. Lot of blood, sweat and tears. I was working for a major retailer for about 3ish years. I worked my way up the ladder and was making quite a lot of money. From there I moved out of my place with my boyfriend and got my own place. (I had to! My room was a den with no closet. I had my stuff in boxes forever!!!!) We eventually broke up, and things were going pretty good. I am renting my mom's old house and attempting to fix it up for her. It is an old house, so it needs a lot of work. I was always a fan of house labor to be honest. I like fixing pipes, replacing tile, and things like that. Well, that went on for a while and I started to notice I was going crazy.

I mean that seriously. I was starting to consider burning down the building I worked at. It was something I thought about very seriously and very often. I HATED my job. I enjoyed my co-workers and I enjoyed being around stuff I enjoy. But, I was so unhappy I would go home and scream into my couch pillows. It made me really evaluate my life.

So! It was time to do something crazy. I put in my 2 week notice and gave up my job security. I think it was probably the best decision of my life. I gave it up for my dream job of selling art online. It is also really stressful, but now it is on my terms. I think I am a better person for it.
